Job Description

My client are a large fashion company, who's head offices are based out of St. Albans. Being a market leader in their specific field it is essential that they bring in an assistant accountant who is able to carry themselves in a professional manner on a day to day basis.

This contract is to cover a maternity leave for the next 12 months for the assistant accountant, who is an integral part of the business. There will be a handover period to ensure that the interim assistant accountant is able to understand the companies way's of doing things and also give you the chance to come in and hit the ground running.

Description

The main duties of the assistant accountant will be:

• Balance sheet Reconciliations
• Supporting the company accountant with month end
• Accruals and Prepayments
• VAT
• Maintaining the general ledger
• Banking

• Part Qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA)
• Immediately Available

Job Offer

• 12 month FTC
• On site parking
• up to £30000 on salary
