Job Description

This presents a great opportunity for an ambitious and enthusiastic, experienced Recruitment Consultant to join a business that will provide support and responsibility.   • You will be working with our existing clients and also developing new business relationships - so we need someone with the experience and confidence to develop their own desk as well as recruit for current clients.
  • As a '360’ consultant you will be adept at taking client instructions, advising them on the market and then sourcing candidates using pro-active search as well as advertising roles.
  • We recruit from 'Trainee to Board’ level (placements have ranged from £25k to >£150k in the past 12 months!) so you need to be agile and able to work both at pace and also in a structured and methodical manner to deliver to the highest standards on contingent and retained assignments.
  • Whilst you will be delivering your own assignments we also actively encourage 'cross-selling’, building on our reputation to recruit for our clients across multiple functions
  • You will be actively encouraged to meet with clients and candidates in person (when current guidance changes) but also using Microsoft TEAMS for remote meetings as our clients are UK wide.
  • Working with your manager you will develop a structured business plan from which to build your business - we don’t set KPI targets here but we do encourage a strategic and balanced approach to short, medium and long term success!
  • This isn’t a 9-5 job and we don’t watch clocks here - we are far more interested in 'doing the right thing’ and positive outcomes. You do however need the drive, passion, flexibility and maturity to plan your work and meet your objectives and out clients expectations.
  • The development of our CRM system with high quality information is an important part of the role, ensuring compliant and 'value added’ information is recorded.
  • You will play an important role in developing a marketing strategy and provided with a sensible budget to deliver it - we are always happy to invest where we can expect a good return on the investment!
