Job Description

• This is a key behind the scenes role. You will look after the operational management of the hotel’s laundry, valet, linen room & housekeeping porter activities.
• You will ensure an efficient operation on your shift, you will take responsibility for team briefings, allocating resources, room inspections and ensuring electronic Housekeeping systems are up to date.
• You will assist the Executive Housekeeper in obtaining the control of the room inventory availability and room allocation to Room Attendants.
• You will coordinate between Team Leaders, Reception, Maintenance and all other departments to ensure the accurate information is passed.
• You will supervise the daily activities of all Housekeeping Staff.
• You will prepare schedules as requested, and in accordance with forecasted occupancy.
• Ultimately, we want you to empower your team to be more involved in the guest experience – for example, by suggesting ways to personalize guests’ stays or improvements to our internal systems and processes.
