Job Description

What's involved with this role:
To provide fundraising and administrative support to the fundraising team. To assist in building and developing fundraising relationships in the community, by providing excellent stewardship and support to the fundraising groups, volunteers and key supporters.

  • Our clients are generally seeking applicants who are reasonably local, so on that basis we would ideally like you to supply us with your address (or at least your post code) and a telephone number so that we can reach you during working hours.
  • Your recent UK working experience going back at least 5 years, or full employment history if you have been working for fewer years than this.
  • Your availability to work either immediately, or at short notice.
  • Minimum of 12 months recent office administration experience in a similar role, or context and ideally within a public sector organisation
  • Previous contact with the public (face to face or phone) in a customer/supporter facing environment
  • Understanding of general office systems and procedures
  • Excellent people and customer service skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills demonstrating a sensitive approach
  • Good IT skills including Word processing, email and spread sheets and a working knowledge of databases
  • Other Requirements:
    • Driver
    • Valid full Driving Licence

Other preferable/desirable details to include on your CV, if applicable:

  • High level of computer literacy.
  • Able to provide good stewardship to supporters
  • Knowledge of fundraising activities.
  • An interest in or experience of charity work and fundraising
