Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or misallocated costs
Monitor and report on cashflow
Work with the finance team to agree inter-company reconciliations
Liaise with the team on any issues/discrepancies with the monthly management accounts or reconciliations and work with the team to resolve any queries and agree how to close.
Prepare monthly reports and commentary
Prepare ad hoc reports including variance analysis, as and when requested
Prepare/assist in the preparation of forecasts
Assist in audit queries and information for preparation of statutory accounts
Prepare tax returns
Meet departmental and statutory deadlines, seeking support if there are any concerns in achieving this.
Maintain accurate departmental and statutory controls and processes
Partner other members of the team to prepare specific reports or complete project work
Support junior members of the team as and when required
Maintain up to date knowledge
Other tasks as and when required to support the finance team.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following attributes:
ACCA or CIMA finalist/qualified essential or the ability to demonstrate relevant experience
Able to demonstrate relevant experience in a Management Accountant role
Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance.
Advanced Excel skills essential
Experience using Microsoft Navision an advantage
Strong communication skills with both financial and non-financial stakeholders
Ability to deliver accurate and timely information
Ability to meet multiple tight deadlines
Strong analytical skills
Exceptional attention to details
Self-motivated and results focused.
Salary up to £40k plus a generous benefits package
