The post holder will also promote the UWTSD brand, with a particular focus on LC/BC’s programmes, opportunities and services.
Main duties include:
Help develop and deliver LC/BC-based marketing and communications strategies and corresponding promotions and initiatives.
Shape and develop written, visual and social media content, working closely with other interested internal and external potential parties to strengthen and add value to the offering and helping to achieve LC/BC recruitment and retention targets.
Develop location-based messaging campaigns, including social media. Monitor the LC/BC social media content, working closely with the central web and social media team to ensure they meet market needs, aspirations and are accurate and popular.
Prepare, proof read and monitor published information, including social media content relating to LC/BC, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail throughout.
Contribute to specific LC/BC-based projects, working with cross-functional staff to ensure an effective and timely delivery.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
You will need: A Marketing and/or Communications (or related) qualification or equivalent work experience. Relevant previous experience of working in a marketing environment in a multicultural environment. Demonstrable creative thinking and effective writing skills. Effective interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to demonstrate effective and appropriate administrative, organizational and decision-making skills. You must have: Professional marketing qualification (or other related field). Networking, negotiating and influencing skills with other stakeholders. Experience of working within a target-driven environment online / VLE platforms and processes. Experience of working with University Student Management Database Systems.
