Key Responsibilities:

As a Home Instead CAREGiver, you will be visiting our clients in their own homes for an hour at a time, helping them with a variety of daily needs:

- Getting to know your clients, understanding their needs and interests

- Carrying out general tasks like housework, laundry, and shopping

- Helping with personal care like washing, toileting and supporting them to get dressed

- Food preparation and supporting with medication

- Take out and about Shopping, appointments, meeting up with friends

- Not all our client’s needs are the same our care is tailored to their needs. We treat our client’s as we would care for a family member

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Although it would be useful to have experience of working in a care setting or interacting with older people (for example, this could be personal experience of caring for a family member or voluntary experience), we are happy to hear from applicants that have no experience. We are looking for someone who will enjoy building professional friendships and is comfortable in spending time in the company of others. If you’ve never worked in this industry before, we will put you through a first-class training program that will give you the confidence to carry out your tasks.
