Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

- To be responsible for the production of management accounts for the contracting businesses
- To be the central point of contact for the Director and their team and ensure their financial support needs are met
- To be responsible for any commercial reporting in the business and support the commercial teams as required with information and challenge as appropriate
- Cost analysis by site throughout the month and period end ensuring costs are coded correctly
- Accounting data analysis by site throughout the month and period end
- Provision of production statistics and inventory movements and reconciliation
- Reconciliation of capital expenditure
- Entry of month end journals for reporting
- Assist with forecast and budget preparation and analysis for the works and depots
- To ensure financial data is accurate and complete and coded correctly
- To ensure balance sheet reconciliations are performed routinely and any differences are investigated and resolved
- Ensure that all accounting policies and procedures are applied
- Supervision of assistant accountants and other finance staff may be required

You must qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA (or equivalent) to apply for this position.
