Job Description

This apprenticeship consists of a 24-month long opportunity to build on your organizational and communication skills and apply your ‘can-do’ attitude whilst working towards a Business Administrator Level 3 qualification.

Working in Digital Services for the Council you will:

  • Support with monitoring the incidence, status and speed of resolution of incidents. Help analyse metrics and report on the performance of the incident management process. Be proactive in devising improvements and recommending changes to systems, products or services across all Digital Services.
  • Help draft and maintain policies, standards and procedures for the service support function to maintain their effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Interpret data to analyze and manage licensing and asset information.
  • Work with all stakeholders to develop and enhance relationships and assess feedback to highlight issues which need to be addressed.
  • Maintain and update records and support teams with data entry and numerical data.
  • Develop professional relationships with your own team and with others who we work alongside and provide services to.
  • Build on your existing communication skills, gain invaluable experience and build your self-confidence through your day-to-day workplace activities.
  • Actively work within a ‘continuous service improvement’ environment, always looking to improve our service to users.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Complete a Business Administration Level 3 qualification funded by the Council. This will involve attendance at a college and/or completing tasks in the workplace (depending on specific course requirement). Join a personal and professional development programme that will involve a series of varied development activities and events throughout your time with the Council.
