Job Description
- Answering calls and enquiries from service users, careers or external agencies, prioritizing urgency and referring to the most appropriate person.
- Opening all new referrals onto Patient information system.
- Arranging and rescheduling appointments
- Typing letters using Big Hand.
- Assisting the Administrators where required.
- Take minutes when required.
- Ordering of stationery
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
The ideal candidate will be educated to GCSE in Math and English or equivalent and NVQ Level 2/RSA2 or equivalent. They will need to possess strong customer service skills, a professional and confident telephone manner, good organizational and keyboard skills and reception experience. Some experience in clinical or document typing would be an advantage. They will also require a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and be able to remain calm and professional when faced with changing or challenging situations.
