The opportunity
Join us as a Trainee Payroll Administrator for an exciting opportunity to start a professional career in payroll. All training is provided in house and no experience is necessary as each staff member is provided with a comprehensive training programme developing you from a complete novice to a fully trained payroll professional. With this development comes incremental pay rises up to £25,000 once fully trained and after two years of continuous service, you will also have the opportunity to complete a fully funded CIPP qualification in payroll management.
Who are we looking for
· GCSE Maths and English minimum grade B.
· You will have A-Level or above qualifications.
· A strong work ethic and ability to take responsibility for your own work and calculations. The ‘buck’ will stop with you.
· Good Microsoft Office (MS Excel & Word) skills.
· Excellent spoken and written communication.
· No previous experience necessary but must have excellent attention to detail and be able to work fast under some pressure.
· You will be part of a team supporting our client base so excellent spoken and written communication is vital to help maintain the excellent NannyPaye brand.
· Existing knowledge of payroll and employment law are not required as full training will be provided however, it is essential that the successful candidate has the ability to learn and use new skills at a reasonable pace as well as the desire to succeed.
The Role
The working hours for this role are Monday to Friday 8.45am to 5.30pm and the starting salary will be between £17,600 and £18,750 per annum gross, dependent upon experience. With pay rises of £1000.00 per annum every 6 months whilst training up to £25,000.
Joining a team of 15, your role will cover all aspects of payroll and will require you to work both with other team members as well as individually to ensure that our clients are fully supported and that deadlines are met.
