The post holder is a member of the School’s professional services team, providing high quality general administrative support to the School and specific support to the Diabetes research group.

This post will be offered on a fixed-term contract for 10 months and will cover a 6-9 months maternity leave.
1. The main responsibility will be assisting and providing support in the delivery a multi-centre multinational observational study looking at the impact of asymptomatic low sensor glucose on biomedical, patient-reported and health economic outcomes.
2. The post holder will work with the project manager, a clinical research fellow, a clinical research nurse, and a data analyst working on this particular project. The post-holder will support the research team on the overall conduct of the study
3. The post holder will provide administrative assistance to the research team, including maintaining study files, purchasing study materials, and communicating with patients, internal KCL administrative departments, and other study research teams.
4. The post-holder will help to support recruitment, screen patient lists to identify suitable participants, prepare for patient study visits, send study materials and study information to participants, and assist in the storage and maintenance of research materials and data.
5. The post-holder will be responsible for maintaining Good Clinical Practice, and keeping accurate and timely records of studies.
6. The post-holder will work with other members of the research team in the performance of clinical research studies other than those for which he/she has direct personal responsibility
7. The post holder will support the project manager in providing assistance and support to the other clinical sites.
8. The post holder will serve as a liaison between the participants and study team, helping to set up study visits, coordinating appointments, managing travel receipts and reimbursements.
