Job Description

You will have had previous administration experience and of working in a busy office environment.
Provide comprehensive administrative, clerical and audio typing service to consultants and their teams. This may include co-ordination of both clinical and non-clinical activities
Ensuring that patient pathways are dealt with in an accurate, effective and timely manner by monitoring status of results and appointments to ensure patients are treated within their pathway without delay.
Work in a team based secretarial service providing support for each other and ensuring continuity of the service
Act as a point of liaison between patients, GPs, other staff and outside agencies
The organization is currently launching its new improvement focus in the form of an improvement system called We Care. The We Care System is a fundamentally new model that the organization will be shifting to, it champions empowerment, promotes innovation and will bolster the connection and collaboration of staff throughout the organization.
The system allows for the deployment of:

  • Strategic Initiatives which are long term projects and focus led and driven by our executive
  • Trust Priority Improvement Projects which are short term projects allocated to a range of project teams made up from our staff groups focusing on impacting our True North metrics and breakthrough objectives
  • Ward Based OMS which delivers daily management and continuous improvement on the frontline
