Job Description

Role summary: Due to a large volume of flammability data in reports, you would be following SOP's, process flow diagrams, chart reading and inputting the relevant information into a laboratory information system (LIMs database) where it is accessible to other systems used by the company.
I am seeking more than a data entry person, someone who enjoys problem solving, reading technical files and understanding what needs to be done with the data.

Description of the tasks:

• Enter flammability data found in reports for specific materials into a database (LIMS: laboratory information system).
• Work through a list of material codes and corresponding report identities
• Using guidance documents to find data in the reports and interpret that data where appropriate (in-line with the guidance document), and then enter the data, along with reference information
• Where necessary summarise data from a number of reports for the same material
• Record progress
• Seek help where unsure of appropriate entry

This would be a fantastic role for a graduate Chemical engineer or Chemist who is looking to work with documentation and technical reports. Also suitable for any experienced technical data entry individual.
