Payroll Clerk
Full-time, Contract
Job Description

Responsibilities:

* Process both weekly and monthly payroll on time

* Respond to and if need to investigate Payroll enquiries

* Assist in the reporting from Payroll to HR for business requirements

* Assist with entering variable overtime and other manual payments that will be reflected on wage slips

* Chase Line Managers for any missing information

* Collate monthly Time & Attendance information for the processing of Payroll

* Process New Starters and Leavers

* Process any changes to contracts of employment or employee information

* Create and maintain HR files including Sick notes and Holiday requests

* Assist HR in the obtaining of employment references

* Maintain Data Protection and confidentiality at all times


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
* Experience of using a SAGE is advantageous when applying * Strong MS Outlook, Excel and Word skills are essential * Flexibility required if the business requires additional support * Strong Numeracy and Literacy skills * Excellent attention to detail * Able to confidently run a Payroll solely * Highly organised with the ability to meet deadlines with ease * Process Driven
