Job Description

The post holder will support the Data Quality function. They will assist in the production of a range of data quality reports to enable targeted support of Trust staff and Service Managers to improve data quality within their Division. The post holder will also be required to correct data in the Trust’s IT systems.
The post is based in the Information Department and as a result the post holder will be expected to play a part in the support of other clinical systems helping to improve data quality within these systems.
An individual to join the Data Quality Team at the Trust. Applications are invited from individuals who are motivated to learn and will develop an understanding of data quality and how it supports the business functions of the Trust. The individual may not have all of the essential criteria described within the person specification for this role but can display a willingness to work towards developing the required knowledge and behaviors to support the collection of high quality data.
We have continued to support the collection of high quality data for patient care and business purposes. Recent successes include a reduction in misallocated GP correspondence and the introduction of an audit programme which will see the team visit all administrative areas of the Trust.
We pride ourselves on making a real difference to the ability of the Trust to collect and utilize good quality data. It’s a varied role that will give the post holder and chance to see how lots of different areas of the Trust work.
