Job Description

This is an exciting role to work with a fast growing company who have just launched a new strategy and vision for the business going forward with some fantastic additions to executive team. This role is standalone in nature and the successful person will be a key strategy maker for the payroll & benefits operations as well as being hands on in its delivery.

The business has enjoyed sustained periods of growth over recent years and they are a key market leader within their field. The business, which has a turnover of around £80-£100m, has been operating within their market for over 50 years and over the last 18 months has invested significantly both in terms of infrastructure and acquisitions to continue their growth. The business is completely unique in its market and they are an extremely ambitious organisation who are looking for like-minded individuals to join their team. They have state of the art offices with a fantastic culture on top and are at the forefront of digital innovation within their field.


The Role:

  • End to end monthly payroll processing (hands on role)
  • Managing payroll and benefit queries
  • Overseeing the relationships with external benefit providers
  • Supporting the HR department with any queries
  • Assisting with administration queries such as starters/leavers
  • Producing management reports for payroll
  • Improving the payroll and benefit functions to be more streamline and automated
  • Providing support with new system integrations

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Must be have experience of managing an international payroll (Tax, Healthcare, Pension and NI) CIPP qualified desirable High volume of employees advantageous Knowledge of HR operations Methodical thinker Strong communication skills Problem solvers Good Excel Skills If you live in Leeds/Manchester/Nottingham/Derby or anywhere else and can commute to Sheffield 2/3 days a week then this role should be of interest to you
