Job Description
We are looking for a new addition to the team, and someone who will be able to provide administrative support to enable the smooth running of the repairs and maintenance activities, whilst also providing the first line support to our retail teams globally. The right person for this role will have strong administrative skills, be highly organized and be able to work at a fast pace while using their own initiative.
What you'll be doing
- Reactive Maintenance.
- First line support for retail teams regarding maintenance issues
- Ensure all information presented to contractors is consistent and clear through liaising with retail teams.
- Scheduling engineers to carry out repairs both planned and reactive
- Keeping records up to date to be able to provide real time status updates as and when requested.
- Building and maintaining relationships with new/existing suppliers
- Negotiating and reviewing all costs to obtain the most economical and effective solution for the business.
- Liaise with all stores and contractors to ensure all works are carried out effectively and in a timely manner.
- Utilities
- Maintains an accurate list of utility providers for our store estate globally.
- Working closely with operations and our utility broker to ensure;
- all new and existing sites have contracts in place upon opening,
- all closing sites have contracts terminated.
- Compliance.
- Responsible for the ongoing upkeep of retail maintenance and compliance files.
- Ensure all stores globally are able to access current certification and reports.
- Health and Safety Compliance
- Ensuring all required works are completed in-line with timeframes set in HSA’s and FRA’s.
- Centrally track all works and be able to provide updates on outstanding/complete work.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Experience of property maintenance beneficial. Strong administrative and organizational skills. Ability to work in a fast paced environment and balance a number of work at the same time. Good questioning and problem solving skills. Geographical knowledge of the UK is beneficial. Most of all, a 'can do' attitude and a proactive nature.
