Job Description

As a careers adviser you will:

• assess clients’ abilities, interests and achievements
• find learning and work opportunities
• use careers information and resources
• make decisions that suit their life and their circumstances
• look at available training and work options
• make a plan of action for achieving their aims, and give them support as they carry it out
• developing working relationships with employers, colleges, universities and training providers
• keeping up to date with occupational and labour market information
• support training department and employability learners when required
• updating records and completing other administration tasks
• deliver employability workshops such as CV, interview skills, job application etc
• visit different providers and deliver information, advice and guidance services

Qualifications and Skills

• Level of written and verbal English must be excellent
• Having A-Level in English will be an advantage
• Must be university graduate
• Touch typing will be an advantage

Salary: £18,000.00-£21,000.00 per year
