Responsibilities and Duties
As a careers adviser you will:
- assess clients’ abilities, interests and achievements
- find learning and work opportunities
- use careers information and resources
- make decisions that suit their life and their circumstances
- look at available training and work options
- make a plan of action for achieving their aims, and give them support as they carry it out
- developing working relationships with employers, colleges, universities and training providers
- keeping up to date with occupational and labour market information
- support training department and employability learners when required
- updating records and completing other administration tasks
- deliver employability workshops such as CV, interview skills, job application etc
- visit different providers and deliver information, advice and guidance services
Qualifications and Skills
- Level of written and verbal English must be excellent
- Having A-Level in English will be an advantage
- Must be university graduate
- Touch typing will be an advantage

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £18,000.00-£21,000.00 per year
Opening hours: Mon-Fri 9:30am - 6:00pm and Sat 10:00 - 2:00pm
