Job Description

The main objective is to deal with allowance and expense claims for Members of the House of Lords in accordance with the scheme of ‘Financial Support for Members’.

The successful candidate will have the following skills/experience:

  • Technical skills - Previous administrative experience and good IT skills, including knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office and computerized accounting systems.
  • Analytical skills and problem solving – proven analytical and numerical skills; being comfortable with detailed number work, including manual calculations.
  • Communication skills – Clear and accurate oral, written and online communications skills, including the ability to explain and clarify issues around Members’ Finance. This role can require a high level of telephone, written correspondence and personal contact with Members.
