What does a role as a Balance Sheet and Management Accountant role look like at OFFICE?
Month End Close
- Managing and taking ownership of all Balance sheet reconciliations in Oracle including AP, AR, Bank, Fixed Assets, Accruals and Prepayments to be performed on monthly/ quarterly basis
- Assisting finance accountant with monthly management accounts
- Reconciling and posting Cost of Sales and stock journals
- Posting accruals and prepayments
- Production of monthly cost centre reports
- Managing monthly payroll reconciliation
- Managing fixed asset register
- Provide business support to business stakeholders
- Being responsible for property, head office, merchandising & VM P&Ls
- Providing ad hoc reports where necessary
- Dealing with interim and year end audit queries
- System testing involving new projects or initiatives across different software
What are we looking for?
- Part-Qualified CIMA/ACCA (Finalist)
- Strong Excel skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Exposure to Oracle accountancy package
- Strong Numeric, organisational and interpersonal skills
- Good technical knowledge and a commercial attitude
- Previous experience of working in a fast paced multi site retail environment
- IT literate with experience gained in larger organisation with multiple systems platforms
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and meet strict deadlines
Must be a flexible and adaptable person, in terms of taking on responsibility and covering for the work of others in the management accounts team when necessary
