Job Description

A real estate investment manager are looking for a part qualified financial accountant, who will be principally focused on the preparation of management accounts of their funds and separate accounts. Working in a team of 4, assisting their financial controllers.

The business was founded in 2011 and they specifically target social infrastructure assets within the UK, which they believe are integral to society, benefiting from limited supply, growing demand and generally offering some resilience to technology-driven change. They have £250 million assets under management and are currently raising their 5th fund of £154 million.

They are dedicated to their charitable work and devote 10% of their annual profits, alongside their time and effort to social and environmental causes.

In July 2020 they became a certified B Corporation, meaning that they meet the highest standards of verified social and environmental performance, public transparency, and legal accountability to balance profit and purpose. Key responsibilities:

• Monthly management accounting including day to day bookkeeping
• Preparation of year-end financial statements
• Assisting with investor reporting
• Cash flow and P&L forecasts
• Treasury function

Requirements:

• Must have at least a 2.1 university degree
• Must have at least BBB at A-Level
• 1-2 years' experience, management accounts preparation is essential
