Job Description
Responsibilities:
o support our expansion UCNEST is currently seeking for an Accountant to join our office in the City. The candidate will initially be in charge of take full responsibility of all revenue recognition throughout the business. The ideal candidate would have some understanding or experience in management accountant and bookkeeping; if you have strong business acumen and are keen to work in a start-up environment, this role could be for you.
- Managing all general ledgers for sales and purchases, bank reconciliation and internal expense claims
- Managing supplier and sub-contractor queries, including reconciliation of payments, solving invoice issues
- Review rental payments and deposit accounts for Tenants
- Producing financial statements for all entity
- Posting of all bank transactions including Direct Debits, bank transfers, standing orders, supplier payments and customer receipts
- Assistance in the preparation of management accounts
- Provide support and assistance to the company’s admin where necessary
Requirements:
- Must have great attention to detail and be computer literate with strong numerical skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Organised and methodical approach to recordkeeping
- Knowledge and awareness of current legislation and regulation of financial accounts
- Maintain strict confidentiality
- Ability to work on your own initiative
- Experience within Property sector is desirable but not essential
- Preferably studying towards an accounting qualification(ACCA/CIMA/AAT)
