Job Description

You will be responsible for meeting and greeting our patients see on their arrival at the clinic. You will log their arrival on our computer system, and inform them of where to wait. You will keep them informed if the clinic is running late. After they have finished with the clinician you will book their follow up appointment on the computer system.
You will also be responsible for ordering the stationary and other stock used at the clinic, as well as reporting site issues to the estates team.
During quieter times you may be asked to undertake general admin tasks such as copying, laminating, making reminder telephone calls to patients and other such tasks described in the job description
You will have previous experience of working in a customer facing or patient facing role. Previous NHS experience is desirable, but not essential.
You should have well developed communication skills with customers or patients and be able to provide an initial response to patient complaints. You should have a methodical approach to your work, and be able to work at speed whilst maintaining accuracy.
You will also be able to priorities your work, be a team player, use your initiative and meet deadlines.
It is expected that you will start work promptly at your shift start times, and candidates will be asked at interview to confirm that they can commit to this.
