Your new role

• The main part of your role is to manage your own portfolio of clients, contacting customers by either telephone, letter, or email
• Ensure that all clients adhere to agreed payment terms reducing and minimising overdue debt
• You will work as part of a strong team to achieve agreed targets
• Minimise risk by carrying out credit checks
• As an experienced Credit Controller, you will be comfortable in following all legislation and procedures including Data Protection, Consumer Credit Act, and the Financial Conduct Authority
• You will use your excellent communication skills to deliver a high standard of service while working with the client to find the right solution for both the business and the client
• You will manage any current and aged debt.

Your Skills

• Previous experience of working within credit control is essential to be considered for this role
• Previous experience of working in a business to business industry is desirable but not essential
• Strong level of communication both written and orally
• As someone who has previous experience you will be confident on delivering customer service
• This role will suit someone who enjoys problem solving and building solid working relationships
• Due to location this role will suit someone who has their own mode of transport.
