Job Description

Our successful Finance team are looking for a Management Accountant to join their team.

This role will report into the Finance Manager and will be responsible for various cost lines within the business, ensuring they are budgeted for and charged out correctly, along with the production of monthly management accounts and annual statutory accounts.

You will be responsible for the budgeting of the cost lines allocated to you with assistance from the Business Analysts, ensuring that these costs are correctly attributed to departments and are reviewed monthly and ensuring that all Work In Progress reports are sent out on a monthly basis and that they are regularly reviewed.

You will be required to prepare and review statuary accounts and will be required to manage two junior accountants and carry out necessary training and appraisals. This role will be working closely with the business ensuring that all management accounts are reviewed and accurate and that all costs have been correctly allocated to all departments.

You will have 5+ years’ experience of working within a Management Accounts role, with 2 years post qualified experience and you will be ACCA / CIMA / ACA qualified.

Your knowledge of Statutory accounts and management accounts will be outstanding and you will have exceptional Excel skills, excellent commutation skills and will be confident in managing a small team.
