Job Description

We are seeking to enhance our Executive Team with the appointment of a Administrative Officer who will support the business needs of the School of Health, Sport and Bioscience. The Health, Sport and Bioscience Professional programme has expanded significantly, with further development plans for the next three years. We pride ourselves on the real-world relevance of our courses and research and the impact we are making in our east London community and the wider world. We are an open and inclusive university that is focused on transforming the lives of our students. This has elevated us twenty places in the UK league table and we now sit in the top fifty of the table for the first time. You will support the business needs of the department by providing administration support as well being the first point of contact for staff and students queries. You will have responsibility for creating and maintaining financial records and all aspects of financial administration.
You will be customer focused with excellent communication, organization and problem-solving skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office with excellent attention to detail and you will have a good level of numeracy skills. Knowledge and experience of administration in the Higher Education sector is desirable. A successful external candidate for this position would be employed by our Professional Services , a wholly owned subsidiary.
