Job Description

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working within a busy, fast paced accounts environment. The opportunity is a full time permanent position and a background working as a finance administrator or accounts assistant with SAGE experience is desired.

Accounts Assistant Position Overview

  • Maintaining the sales and purchase ledger on Sage
  • Updating and maintaining Subcontractor statements and spreadsheets
  • Processing payroll for a number of employees
  • Answering calls and greeting visitors
  • Photocopying, filing and a range of other administrative duties

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• At least 2 years in an accounts focused position • Knowledge of how to operate and process Construction Industry Scheme and DRC • Experience dealing with Sage and excel • Capable of multitasking in a fast paced environment • Experience of Sage is essential • Experience of Excel and Vlookup is desirable
