Job Description

We provide the customer insight to help us understand what customers want and need, and define the customer and brand strategies across the Group. We play a crucial role for our customers and for the Group, and as the PA to the Chief Customer Officer, you’ll have a fantastic opportunity to be at the heart of this busy, engaging and collaborative business area. You’ll be the first point of contact for the Chief Customer Officer, providing secretarial and administrative support across a wide range of tasks, developing and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships with Executive level colleagues. It’s a varied PA role which involves a high level of prioritization and complex diary management, as well as collaborating across a wide network.

Your accountabilities will include:

  • Complex diary management of a demanding and fast moving calendar, arranging and prioritising appointments and organizing meetings, events and conferences to achieve the optimum time effectiveness.
  • Plan and priorities a demanding schedule and in conjunction with the Executive Assistant, produce comprehensive information including briefing notes, material for scheduled committees and appointments.
  • Proactive management of all correspondence via email, telephone and post, deciding on priorities/actions and deal with any customer complaints. Respond to correspondence without reference and only refer to the Executive where necessary.
  • Arrange travel requirements, adhering to travel policy & budget.
  • Carry out a wide range of administrative duties including expenses, invoices, electronic and paper filing, dealing with IT issues.
  • Engage with senior internal and external stakeholders, clarifying requirements to support business decisions.
  • Identify, monitor and mitigate risks, escalating where appropriate.
  • Using own initiative and judgment from knowledge of key issues as to what action needs to be taken and when more complex issues require escalation.
  • Act as senior PA for the department, providing coaching and support for other CCO PAs and Business Support Assistants

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
We’re looking for a professional and highly experienced PA who is passionate about what they do. You'll be exceptionally organized, have driven, energy, enthusiasm and focus, as well as being capable of prioritizing to meet deadlines without losing your eye for detail. You must have the personal gravitas and confidence to engage with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the business, particularly Executive and Director Level. Proven experience of working at pace in a constantly changing environment is essential, together with having the resilience and positive outlook needed when faced with changing priorities. You’ll act as a mentor to other PAs, so you’ll need to be supportive and adaptable, role modelling our values and behaviors.
