As Assistant Financial Controller you will have direct responsibility for all activities within:
Monthly Management Accounts preparation and reconciliation
Building Budget figures into the Management Accounts and analysing performance against budget
Sales Reporting
Monthly/ Quarterly, Annual Management and Statistical Reporting
Bank Reconciliation and the processing of bank payments
Management of the Purchase and Sales ledger/ posting payments and receipts
Credit Control
Processing of employee expenses
Providing support to the admin team during busy sales invoice production
Overseeing both Payrolls (Monthly and Weekly)
Managing dividends and loan accounts
Preparation of year end accounts and file
Coordinating annual audit and preparing statutory accounts, including VAT returns
Completion of ad hoc financial and business projects including Pension Accounts.
My client pride themselves on all working together therefore for this role they do require a 'Hands On' Financial Controller who is able to confidently engage with employees at all levels throughout the business and of being 'Commercially' focused. This is a great opportunity or someone who is post qualified circa 2 years who are looking to take their next career step. Experience of Payroll would be welcomed but not essential.
