Job Description

Reporting to the People Services Team Leader you would responsible for delivering an exceptional HR service across the group, handling high volume administrative and transactional activities related to colleague experience, including on/off boarding, leave management, HR compliance, records management and retention.

Tasks will include…
- Preparing and issuing offer letters, new starter packs and contracts for all new starters
- Conducting all pre and post-employment checks, including references and Right to Work documentation
- Ensuring all on boarding paperwork is completed correctly and processed in a timely manner
- Facilitating the completion of all employee contractual changes plus ensuring the timely administration of all leavers
- Processing all sickness absence, maternity/paternity and family friendly administration
- Ensuring all payroll documentation is processed and forwarded to the Payroll Dept in an accurate and timely manner


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
The ideal candidate for this HR Assistant role must have experience providing a high standard of HR support in previous roles, perhaps part CIPD qualified or looking to begin the course and develop a career within Human Resources. Basic employment law knowledge will be required. In addition, it's essential that you possess the following: - Exceptional organisational skills, working flexibly and prioritising workload in order to meet deadlines - Excellent attention to detail - Tact and discretion for dealing with confidential information - Enjoys working with systems and data
