Job Description

This vacancy is the right opportunity for an experienced Senior Bookkeeper with a background in an accountancy practice. Ideally, a full-time position, although working reduced hours and working from home, may be considered.

The firm's clients use a range of cloud-based bookkeeping software such as Xero and QuickBooks; working knowledge of these packages would be a distinct advantage for this position.

You will be working for clients;

• Posting transactions
• Resolving issues
• Reconciling company bank accounts
• Producing quarterly vat returns
• Taking client accounts through to the trial balance stage

In addition to your work experience, you should hold a professional bookkeeping qualification or AAT qualification. The firm has a wide range of business and personal clients requiring support for accounts, tax, payroll and business advice. Each member of the team is responsible for delivering work within the budget and time requirements.
