You will be the first point of contact for enquiries for both internal and external users, therefore strong customer service skills are essential.
You will be responsible for maintaining our administrative processes, organizing and taking minutes at our departmental meetings, supporting our team of hourly paid tutors, training and supervising any student helpers as well as being part of our Front of House team during term time. We are looking for a team player who is flexible, comfortable working with a wide range of people and who has excellent written and spoken communication skills.
In addition you will need to have knowledge and interest in creating content for all social media platforms i.e.: Twitter, Facebook, Instagram etc. Some experience of an HE environment would also be desirable.
The core working hours are 9.30 – 5.30pm, Monday to Friday with some evening work during term-time (usually until about 10.30pm) and occasional weekend work.
