Job Description

You’ll be providing technical support in the form of accurate data-entry into various systems and spreadsheets, monitoring the central e-mail inbox and providing written communication to both clients and insurers, requesting information as appropriate. Additionally, you’ll provide a triage telephone service, dealing with incoming queries yourself when possible, and directing the call to the correct individual when appropriate. There will also be responsibility for photocopying, filing and scanning of various documents, and keeping all handbooks and information documents up to date with relevant information.

After time and under initial supervision, you’ll progress to the provision of technical insurance support to the Underwriters, with a wide range of further duties to include renewal invitations, policy document production, processing adjustments and cancellations, market research and issuing certificates and cover notes.

You will be able to demonstrate at least an understanding of the insurance market, its products and how it transacts and processes business. Ideally, you will have gained experience in a similar role and will take pride in providing accurate and efficient business support to industry professionals.

This role is available immediately and our client wishes to make an appointment asap. Immediate interviews are attainable if you can demonstrate the skills required and are able to commute to the City. As we come out of the pandemic there will be some initial flexible working arrangements but it is envisaged that this role will be 100% office based once the ‘all clear’ is given.
