Job Description

The roles focus on monthly, quarterly and annual reporting, identifying and ensuring that ledger mis-posts are corrected, preparing segmental analysis and section 3 for financial statements and investor reports, uploading and verifying segmental and proforma calculations to Tagetik and reviewing the quarterly stat pack submissions.
Additionally you would produce quarterly /annual balance sheet commentaries and related reports, and undertake year-end control tasks such as late posting journals and producing stat to ledger reconciliations.
The roles do not have any direct staff management responsibility, but you would support other members of the team as appropriate.

The ideal candidates will have previous experience of the production of statutory accounts, consolidations and the management of the audit process, as well as experience of ensuring that external reporting is correct at a legal entity level.
You will be fully qualified (ACA, ACCA or CIMA if you have the relevant experience) and will have good working knowledge of IFRS. You will be able to drive continuous improvement and innovation, and demonstrate excellent analytical and problem solving skills, and be able to present information in a clear and concise manner to senior management. Given the role is predominately home based, you will have an adequate set up and environment to carry out your duties effectively. Insurance sector experience is not essential but would benefit your application.
