A successful business based in South Manchester is looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their finance department on a permanent basis.

As the Accounts Assistant, you will sit beneath the Senior Accountant and will be responsible for supporting the wider finance function as well as liaising with internal and external stakeholders within the business.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Processing invoices/raising payments

• Bank/statement reconciliations

• Month end accounts and analysing periodic spend

• Journal posting

• Prepayments & Accruals

• Reviewing and updating cash flow

• Liaising with internal/external stakeholders

• Ad hoc finance projects

Key Skills Required:

• Previous experience working within a finance function is essential

• Good knowledge of MS office especially Excel

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work using own initiative

• Ability to work within a team or autonomously
