Job Description

You will work in a small Accounts/Finance team where your previous sales ledger / accounts receivable experience will be valuable and a key requirement for this role, there will also be general office duties that you will be required to undertake as part of your role.
Responsibilities will include:

  • Credit Control
  • Cash flow management
  • Maintaining the company Purchase and Sales Ledger
  • Post cash receipts
  • General Ledger, Reconciliation
  • Run cost reports, Month end procedures, Accruals
  • Liaising with third party providers, clients, and suppliers
  • Updating and maintaining procedural documentation
  • Sub-Contractor ledger post invoices, raise certs, process payment run and verifying their tax status with the HMRC
  • Providing all round administrative support for all the team and assisting with day to day activities
  • Good Interpersonal skills, someone who can communicate effectively and efficiently with people at all levels.
  • Strong IT Knowledge of computer skills, Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel is essential.
  • Knowledge of our accounts package Redsky summit 3000 and Xero would be advantageous although not essential as training would be provided.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience working within an Accounts Dept.
  • A very organized and capable approach to the workplace and a willingness to take responsibility of own workload.
  • Be able to work on own their own initiative.
  • The ability to work towards tight deadlines.
  • A can do and positive attitude.
