Job Description
You will work in a small Accounts/Finance team where your previous sales ledger / accounts receivable experience will be valuable and a key requirement for this role, there will also be general office duties that you will be required to undertake as part of your role. Responsibilities will include:
Credit Control
Cash flow management
Maintaining the company Purchase and Sales Ledger
Post cash receipts
General Ledger, Reconciliation
Run cost reports, Month end procedures, Accruals
Liaising with third party providers, clients, and suppliers
Updating and maintaining procedural documentation
Sub-Contractor ledger post invoices, raise certs, process payment run and verifying their tax status with the HMRC
Providing all round administrative support for all the team and assisting with day to day activities
Good Interpersonal skills, someone who can communicate effectively and efficiently with people at all levels.
Strong IT Knowledge of computer skills, Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel is essential.
Knowledge of our accounts package Redsky summit 3000 and Xero would be advantageous although not essential as training would be provided.
Minimum of 3 years' experience working within an Accounts Dept.
A very organized and capable approach to the workplace and a willingness to take responsibility of own workload.
