Job Description

This successful practice of Accountants has a wide portfolio of clients and several specialist services, one of which is managing annual accounts on behalf of General Practitioners and other medical professionals. They are now looking for an additional Accountant to join this team.

Your work will not be 100% GP Practice accounts, but it will be an important part, and you will need previous experience in this specialist area. Your role will involve:

• Preparing annual accounts for the GP practices
• Ensuring the accounts meet the national guidelines
• Calculating NI payments for GPs
• Calculating personal and business tax
• Preparing pension payments

This role enjoys a high level of client interaction and involvement, and you will need to keep yourself up to date with statutory changes and sector thinking.

The Accountant vacancy could be at a Senior or Manager level and requires experience in this specialist sector. Candidates who are qualified by experience or part/ fully qualified at ACCA/ ACA will be considered. The broad salary range is dependent on your experience/ qualification level.
