Job Description

The firm's clients use a range of cloud-based bookkeeping software such as Xero and QuickBooks; working knowledge of these packages would be a distinct advantage for this position.

You will be working for clients;

• posting transactions
• resolving issues
• reconciling company bank accounts
• producing quarterly VAT returns
• taking client accounts through to the trial balance stage

There will be plenty of client contact in the role, and you will need to work autonomous and in close conjunction with the Client Manager Accountants.

In addition to your work experience, you should hold a professional bookkeeping qualification or AAT qualification. The firm has a wide range of business and personal clients requiring support for accounts, tax, payroll and business advice. Each member of the team is responsible for delivering work within the budget and time requirements.

Your starting salary will be dependent on your level of experience/ qualification.
