Job Description
- Overseeing the payroll function
- Hands on processing of a portfolio of complex clients payrolls
- Working closely with the Payroll Manager
- Management and planning of absence and sickness within the payroll team
- Leading on 1:1s and appraisals
- Overseeing staffing requirements and assisting with recruitment for the payroll department
- Ensure deadlines and SLAs are met
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Strong Payroll Manager experience, ideally in a bureau/chartered accountancy • Strong people management experience • CIPP qualified is desirable
