Major Responsibilities
Month End:
Responsible for critical month end processes and working with the FP&A team to ensure the completeness of the accounts within deadline
Reviewing management accounts team journals/reconciliations and continuously challenging accuracy/relevance of activity
Review the full UK & Ireland P&L within deadline, ensuring its readiness for Head of FP&A review
Regularly liaise with other finance teams (AP/Billing) to keep all finance processes aligned and ultimately lead to the smooth running of month end
Balance Sheet:
Manage and control both UK & Ireland balance sheet, understanding and justifying all balances held
Monthly review of bank account reconciliations with the aim to minimise number of unreconciled items
Support and maintain Fixed Asset accounting policies. Assist finance and other colleagues on Fixed Asset treatment advice including ARO calculation Ø
Provide Fixed Asset Schedules at a US GAAP and IFRS reporting level
Intercompany:
Lead & report the intercompany balances accurately through collaboration with US Global and Adecco finance teams
Lead & review monthly Intercompany netting process to ensure completeness & timely submission
Work on monthly EMEA & Global recharges and monthly reconciliation of balances
Review monthly global mismatch report and clear intercompany mismatches before deadline
Monthly/Yearly reporting processes & activities
Submit monthly reporting to Adecco (MFRP/GRP)
Support Head of Accounting & Tax in preparation of Audit and Tax computations
Support Head of FP&A with monthly reporting/forecasts and yearly budgets
Key relationships
Manage and develop assistant management accountant
Act as business partner to budget holders within the organisation through continuous communication and collaboration
Act as key support to Head of FP&A, Head of A&T and Finance Director
Work closely with US Global finance team & Adecco
Strive to work closely with stakeholders within the business to create streamlined processes which lead to the recording of accurate financial data
Act as support/cover for the FP&A team during times of absence or sickness
Required Experience/Characteristics
Technical, relevant and up to date accounting knowledge
Experience in managing an individual/team
Solid experience in month end accounting and understanding of different accounting treatments
Solid experience with balance sheet reconciliation, year-end statutory audit experience – dealing with auditors.
Excellent Excel skills and a high level of IT literacy

Qualification
You must be fully ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified
