Undertake recurring and ad hoc financial tasks to maintain financial records of the Company, and safeguarding Company assets. To comply with relevant external financial regulations and internal financial controls. Responsibilities shared with Financial Controller and Management Accountant. To undertake the role in accordance with the Company’s core values and behaviours.
Producing month end sales and gross margin analysis, and variance analysis for management accounts
Producing month end profit and loss and balance sheet
Producing monthly management report
Updating the KPI spreadsheet with monthly information
Involvement in budgeting and forecasting, as well as refining procedures
Monthly review and update of standard costs
Financial reviews with budget holders
Review and refine finance procedures (including the use of SAP)
Cash flow forecasts
Preparation of statutory accounts for Company and pension scheme
Finance lead on payroll matters including liaison with payroll provider
Other ad hoc duties or cover as required
Comply with Company policies and procedures.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
You should be proficient in accounting software and MS Excel etc. You will have a qualification in Accounting and a background of relevant experience. Proficient with maths and numbers and also a keen eye for financial detail.
