Job Description
You will work as part of the Design team liaising with and supporting the designated project teams in relation to the preparation and issue of documents relating to the Health & Safety File and Operations and Maintenance Manuals.
Duties:
- Helping to ensure all documents conform to the requirements needed to produce a compliant H&S File and O&M’s
- Ensuring the timely production of all documentation
- Ensure that the workflow is maintained and to advise the Technical Director of elements that are falling behind or a lack of progress
- Produce metrics form the chosen software platform to advise Senior Management of progress
- Liaise with the relevant BYUK staff to ensure their actions are carried out
- Liaise with the Client’s Project Manager to process Retained Team comments back to the relevant Supply Chain member
- Liaise with the relevant members of the Supply Chain to ensure the documents are prepared and issued on time
- Receive and action instruction and assistance from the Technical Director

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Excellent English Grammar; They will be proof reading information submitted by the supply chain and will need to be able to correct the grammar. Excellent spoken English and communication skills; They will be communicating with the supply chain and need to be able to clearly give them instructions on how to fill in the information and sound confident in what they are telling them Excellent use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel,& PowerPoint), they will be writing project guidance instruction and present the process to the supply chain. Excellent self-presentation, they will be presenting the company to a lot of external entries from designers, supply chain and the client. Must be able to work unaided, and identify issues when they occur. They don’t necessary need to come from the Construction Industry as training and support will be given, but they need to be astute with a large amount of common sense.
