Job Description

This role will provide accurate reporting and cost control to deliver accurate planning and reporting for the Group Head Office costs. Leading the month-end reporting and monitoring of costs incurred across the business as well as identifying and communicating risks and opportunities on a timely basis and driving action plans to control spend.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing month-end results, ensuring the complete and accurate reporting of Indirects, encompassing variance analysis vs forecast and highlighting the impact to the business
• Preparing and posting journals to make any required amendments to cost centre reporting
• Owning the Intercompany process to deliver efficient and effective process and supporting the local countries in delivering the process
• Leading the budgeting and reporting for a particular entity
• Supporting the Corporate Centre Team to comprehensively partner with Senior Management and budget holders to provide support, cost control and governance and providing ad hoc analysis as required on specific queries from Stakeholders
• Updating the Financial model for reporting of actuals and forecasts
• Preparing any balance sheet reconciliations for WC forecasts
• Driving continued improvement, standardisation and automation of reporting and processes both within the Head Office Team and across the European entities

Qualifications:

Essential

• Actively studying for an accounting qualification (ACCA or CIMA)
• Experience of financial analysis in a large business environment
• Strong month end accounting experience
• Strong IT skills including Excel
• Strong interpersonal skills and a proven ability to develop and nurture relationships
• A dynamic and progressive character is essential
