Job Description

Consistent growth has led to the need to recruit an additional Qualified or QBE Accountant for a portfolio of client work. Primarily, this will involve preparing VAT returns, annual accounts, business taxation and personal taxation. A hands-on role that will enable you to develop a close understanding of your clients.

  • Experience dealing with small and medium-sized businesses - sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
  • Expertise in personal and company taxation.
  • A positive ‘can do’ attitude is essential.
  • Ideally, a car owner/ driver, willing to visit clients at their premises (as restrictions ease).

The firm will consider applications from qualified by experience candidates and those who are full or part qualified. Working experience gained within a practice of chartered or certified accountants is essential. Knowledge of IRIS and Sage accounts software is preferable. This position is full-time, although part-time/ reduced hours could be considered for the right person. The salary will be commensurate with experience and ability.
