Job Description

You should have gained two to three years of accounts experience within a small or medium sized-accountancy practice and be actively studying towards your professional qualifications. (After a qualifying period, a study support package will be available.)

  • Technical knowledge and experience required:
  • Annual accounts and tax preparation for small companies
  • VAT returns
  • Knowledge of Sage, Xero, etc.
  • Assisting clients on management accounts/bookkeeping/reviews
  • Additional skills that would be beneficial
  • Some knowledge of VAT and Payroll
  • Experience in salary/dividend planning
  • Some knowledge of personal tax

Ideally, a full-time position, part-time work would be considered. There are opportunities for personal and professional development within the firm, so this position could well be the start of something far greater for you. There is on-site parking at the office and the option to work from home for part of the week.
