Job Description
  • Varied tasks across the department specialties, to a structured weekly schedule. Absence monitoring as below, data entry, assisting in checking the team's data input, expense processing, duty of care monitoring, system data accuracy, self-service queries and any of administration task required.
  • Oversee the distribution of emails to the appropriate Payroll, Benefits or Expense team member from the Payroll Manager Mailbox
  • Respond directly to any requests for copy pay slips, P60 or reference requests, provide help and assistance to employees calling into the department or making a general enquiry to the team
  • Enter other paid and unpaid absences to the system, deducting pay where appropriate
  • Post out to be franked to daily to deadline
  • Ensure all confidential data is destroyed where appropriate daily
  • Assist with pay slip printing, enveloping and postage
  • Assist with any bulk mail outs
  • Monitor payroll & benefits pages on and advise and assist with updates

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Good working knowledge of Outlook, Excel and Word. Good communicator both on the telephone and via e-mail or letter. Flexible, adaptable and somebody who can work well under pressure and deal with high volumes and tight deadlines.
