An expert in all matters relating to Accounts Receivable, you’ll assist with managing the systems required to enable the raising, validation and issuing of invoices and the collection of debts due to the Trust. You’ll have a natural ability to communicate effectively with patient, customers and key members of the Finance team.
You’ll be qualified at AAT, NVQ 4 or a similar level. Knowledge and understanding of Sales Ledgers is vitally important as well as an awareness of matters relating to the application of VAT in respect of income. You’ll also ideally have knowledge of Accounting Standards. The experience of working in an NHS Finance Team would be advantageous for this role too
As for you personally, you’ll be highly enthusiastic, you'll be a team player with a “can do attitude”. You’ll have a detailed understanding of software packages used and the know-how to identify and resolve problems.All in all, you’ll be an effective communicator with the ability to work co-operatively with other members of the team.

You will have the opportunity to help the Trust across all of its sites and hospitals in the provision of care to those in Greater Manchester and beyond. To achieve this you will be required to travel and work at any of the sites as requested.
